TS Tools 2 is the ideal
developing tool to create your own routes in Microsoft Train Simulator.
Using TS Tools 2 you can lay down a route in a simple manner, you can
terraform and exactly define the gradient profiles of the route. Your
route will then be perfectly prepared for completion using the
Route-Editor of the Train Simulator.

Use topographic maps as a background.
Simply place markers directly on to the map with a mouse-click. Mark
your route and the position of important objects.
Use digital elevation data, to form the landscape of your
route.
Add such data while going over the contours yourself. Exactly adjust the
gradient of the trackbed using the Profiler and cut valleys and gorges
into the landscape.
Check the placement of the static objects with the
Tile-Editor of TS Tools 2...
...after you have completed your route in the Route-Editor of Train
Simulator. Align the buildings and exactly adjust the position and
elevation of your objects.
